The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine has announced it will be launching a campaign to counter internal divisions within the Palestinian resistance.
The campaign, with the slogan “End the division now,” is to take place in January and February. It will have a popular character and will take the resolution of the internal conflict to the Palestinian people themselves.
PFLP Political Bureau member Dr. Rabah Mhanna stated that the campaign reflects the sentiments and position of the masses of Palestinian people in the homeland and in exile, which calls for the immediate end to the internal conflict and accountability for those who have committed crimes.
The United States and Israel have successfully played on the divisions between Hamas and Fatah to split the Palestinian resistance. The PFLP is the leading Marxist organization in the Palestinian struggle.
