Hundreds protested today in Chicago to demand justice for the missing 43 Mexican students. The protest started with a march through the Mexican community in Pilsen. Many people from the neighborhood joined the march as it went all the way to Little Village. Protestors jumped, danced and chanted throughout the demonstration. The chants included, “Que queremos? Justicia! Cuando? Ahora,” “Fuera Peña Nieto!” and “Se los llevaron vivos, los queremos vivos!”.
Many protestors with hand written signs showed their frustration with
Mexican President Nieto and the entire police force in Mexico. The march ended with short rally and speakers demanding justice for the missing 43 students.The message of this demonstration is clear, Chicago and many other cities stand with the people of Mexico!
