U.S.-funded Israeli terror state accuses charities of supporting Hamas

Israeli soldiers raided and shut down four Palestinian charities in the West Bank city of Nablus on July 7, claiming that the charities were funding Hamas.

The raids have continued throughout the week and have been directed at medical clinics, a girl’s school, orphanages, city hall, mosques and a shopping mall. Thousands of Palestinians rely on those facilities on a daily basis.

The girl’s school was closed, leaving the students and teachers with nowhere to go. Israeli troops ordered the mall to be closed on August 15, threatening the shop owners with 5 years in prison if they do not comply with orders.

Palestinians have staged sit-in protests during the raids. Talk of a general strike is underway to protest the illegal raids and closures.

Israel’s allegations that charities are “funding Hamas” are the epitome of hypocrisy when Washington openly funds Israel’s atrocities against the Palestinians.
