On October 23rd, 2015 the Southern California Gas Company discovered a leak in one their 115 wells at their Aliso Canyon storage facility next to the Porter Ranch community. As residents have been victims of multiple health diminishing side-effects, the well has continued to leak while the remaining wells are in danger of the same fate due to the removal of safety valves in 1979.
