Nov. 11: ‘Which way forward after the elections?’

Broadcast begins on Sunday, Nov. 11 at approximately 5pm PT / 8pm ET

Please note: This is a live broadcast of a community forum in San Francisco. The live stream will begin when the forum begins, which is likely to be a few minutes after the scheduled start time. Please be patient.

Every four years, the Democratic and Republican parties spend billions of dollars in pursuit of the presidency. But, no matter which candidate wins, poor and working people will still have to struggle for the basic human rights to housing, health care, employment and more.

This is not to say that the Democrats and Republicans are the same. What happens on Election Day has a major impact on the direction and tasks of people’s movements for years to come. Yet, both capitalist parties share a commitment to the economic system of capitalism, and both represent the interests of Wall Street banks and multinational corporations above all else.

Please join the Party for Socialism and Liberation for a community forum to discuss an analysis of the 2012 elections, the Lindsay/Osorio 2012 “Vote PSL” election campaign, and how the U.S. working class can organize for the coming period.
