Progressives in Washington, D.C. have created an Embassy Protection Collective, organizing activities inside the Venezuelan Embassy, and staying inside around the clock. We are making it clear that the Trump administration does not speak for the American people as it attempts to carry out a coup in Venezuela, while seizing the diplomatic compounds of the Venezuelan government. The diplomatic compounds of all countries are considered inviolable by international law.
This week is critical. We are calling all people from around the country to come to the Venezuelan Embassy on Wednesday, April 24 and stay there in protection of it.
