Gov. Rick Snyder of Michigan, a Republican, appeared at a hearing on March 17 before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which has been investigating how Flint’s water supply became contaminated with lead. The governor, who has been widely blamed for the crisis, attributed it to “a failure of government at all levels.”
Liberation News was there and interviewed a Flint resident who had traveled from Michigan to Washington, D.C. in order to have his voice heard by Congressional representatives and demand the incarceration of Snyder.
