This year marks 10 years since the uprising in Ferguson in response to the murder of Mike Brown by police officer Darren Wilson. The Ferguson uprising ignited a resurgence in the modern-day movement for Black liberation, paving the way for future anti-racist mass movement.
Three organizers with the Party for Socialism and Liberation who have been involved in the Black liberation struggle since Ferguson — including presidential candidate Claudia De la Cruz — reflect on the shifting character of the movement over the last decade and lessons to bring forward with us in the fight.
