The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Cuba has followed with increasing worry the grave developments in the Gaza Strip, in particular the indiscriminate attacks by the Israeli army against civilian targets, which has caused thousands of deaths and wounded, and the massive destruction of property and infrastructure.
The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Cuba calls once more on all states, international organizations and entities, on the United Nations Security Council and the entire international community, to demand the immediate end to the Israeli aggression, the lifting of the blockade of the Gaza Strip, and the reestablishment of medical, water and electricity services, to preserve the life of hundreds of thousands of innocent persons.
Cuba reiterates its most energetic condemnation of this new aggression by Israel against the population of the Gaza Strip, and ratifies its unbreakable solidarity with the Palestinian people and its right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent State, with its capital in East Jerusalem.
