On June 2 and then June 3, a rally against injustice to defend the seven year encampment of the homeless has continued—preventing the police from evicting the residents. Tent City was ordered to be demolished by the police, but the support of those turning out for the rally and also a growing support from people in the area have prevented the eviction.
Organizers are asking other to join in the on-going defense of Tent City. Please bring signs and donations like bottled water for the residents.
