The buzzword for the Democratic Party candidates is “change.” Clinton and Obama profess to offer something markedly different from the past, yet a quick glance at their their staff suffices to cut through their lies.
Clinton and Obama each have a staff person from the Pritzker family. The Pritzkers’ wealth ranks behind only the Walton clan and their Wal-Mart fortune. The family’s 11 senior members’ combined net worth exceeds $29 billion.
Obama’s finance chairman is Penny Pritzker. Her brother J.B. Pritzker is a staff person on Clinton’s campaign. Their family’s wealth comes from corporate banking and lending. The Pritzkers were key architects of the enormously profitable sub-prime predatory lending that led to the current mortgage crisis.
Clinton and Obama represent the same war-mongering super-exploiters—the capitalist bosses—as any other bourgeois candidate.
