An important press conference will be held on Sept. 9, 2010, timed to coincide with the 12th anniversary of what supporters call “12 years of unjust imprisonment for opposing terrorism.” The Five — Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, Fernando Gonzalez, and Rene Gonzalez — were arrested on Sept. 9, 1998 and have been imprisoned for 12 years for the “crime’ of trying to stop terrorist attacks on their homeland, Cuba.
