A CDC official said, “It was eviscerated.” The Bush administration purposefully removed science-based references to the potential increased health risks associated with global warming.
According to the CDC, the list of potential health risks include: heat stress, heart failure, increased sever weather injuries and deaths, respiratory problems, an increase in waterborne diseases, increases in other diseases like malaria, and mental health problems.
